Positive: The location was perfect for us as we came to an urban festival at Manchester Academy and this building is 5 min walk. The apartment was big, has an allocated parking spot. Has a big fridge freezer, washing machine, an en suite and one more bathroom. Easy to find.

Negative: The lift was broken and we were not made aware of that. The flat was on the top floor. I have mobility issues so it made my stay very painful. One of the bathrooms had mould on the wall and in general the apartment looked like a rather run down student accommodation. Given that there were 2 bedrooms and 5 beds (!) plus a sofa bed, the fact that the landlady gave us the 3rd degree on whether there were only 2 of us staying, felt a tad strange. Yes, we are a couple, but we both snore and have different sleeping patterns. We had friends staying in another flat in the same building, and they might have been staying on another planet, it was so much better. We only received one set of keys, and when I politely asked if we could get another one (so that we didn't need to always come and go together), I received a rather cold "no, and don't lose these keys" as if we were teenagers. She also gave us a very strange instruction of "do NOT strip the bedding" and the only reason I can think of why is a bit grim. Makes you wonder if the bedding is being re-used without washing. Oh, and one of the mattresses was in such a bad state (sloping on one side) that my partner had to switch beds mid stay.

Summary: Good location, but the flat itself was weird...

Positive: Good location and value for money

Negative: Location and value for money, spaces flat with everything you need, good bedding, sofa but in general the flat a bit ages with wall, bathroom and living room furnitures (but have good leather sofa and television).

Summary: Good for value of money, best location. Building a bit old as well as the flat but with the price you pay it acceptable.

Positive: Lots of bed space, two bathrooms, good location near Manchester city centre, nice view from balcony, fan in the room and lots of storage space.

Negative: The place felt a bit old and there was exterior maintenance that woke us up in the mornings unfortunately. The system for getting hot water was a bit confusing.
