Positive: Beautiful cosy cottage close to a village with shops & cafes as well as an excellent farm shop nearby. Friendly host got in touch with information on local restaurants and attractions. Felt quite luxurious taking a relaxing bath in the bedroom. Lovely countryside views and good for local walks. The Xmas decorations were a lovely touch!

Negative: The bed was a bit too firm. The enclosed garden isn’t secure for dogs as here’s gaps in the hedge they could escape through. We didn’t realise until arrival that dogs aren’t allowed upstairs. Our dog has separation anxiety so didn’t like being left on his own overnight in the kitchen.

Positive: Excellent location for visiting Yorkshire Sculpture Park(check opening times) and plenty of walks up or down the lane. Lots of eateries offering Gluten Free options with a special mention to Normans Neighbourhood Kitchen for amazingly flavoursome food and also Baobros23 takeaway(look them up on Facebook) as well as good pub offerings. Some excellent farm shops in the area.

Negative: Nothing.

Positive: The cottage was so so homely and everything was perfect. The fire was amazing to snuggle up to and watch films after having a soothing bubble bath.

Negative: Absolutely everything about the property was spot on, I cannot complain about a single thing!
