What a view! Nestled high on the ridge overlooking the bay and Lake Superior, this completely remodeled house has real hickory hardwood floors throughout. It has a new cabin feel, all shiplap & tongue and groove walls and ceiling. All new high-end, stainless-steel appliances (refrigerator, stove and washer/dryer), quartz counter tops, hammered cooper kitchen sink, and leather furniture, including a pull-out sofa (queen). We offer a selection of K cups for the Keurig or if you enjoy drip coffee we do have a regular coffee maker as well. There are three smart TVs, total with amazon/netflix available. One TV in the King bedroom, one in the main living room and one in the kids living area (that has the pull-out sofa). For as beautiful as this house is inside, the outdoor space is more amazing, new wrap around deck will be available Summer 2025. The kitchen, living room and queen bedroom has an amazing view of Lake Superior. Sit on the porch swing and sip coffee or wine all day looking at the beautiful blue hues of the water. Play corn-hole (game provided to use) in the side yard or bring your own outdoor games for the whole family. The heated garage has an additional refrigerator and outdoor grill all for guest use. Toward the back of the house enjoy fire in the firepit- we supply all the firewood you need. There are 3 heat sources for this house. One is 100% off-grid meaning it will work if the case of a power outage.
Main source of heat for house is forced air propane. There is a pellet stove both inside the house (optional for you to use) and in the garage as the main source of heat for the garage. We recommend you bring bags of pellets and if you need additional they can be available for $8/bag.

Summary: We had a wonderful 5 day family vacation. Check in was smooth and easy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook family meals. We did stop and get groceries with a cooler, and brought them with us from the lower peninsula. Groceries are limited in this area. The wifi worked great in the evenings when we got back from our adventures. The host communicated with us very well. She even offered us an extra night to keep our adventures going. This was very appreciated, even though we could not stay longer. We were able to bring our pup, Cleo, and she loved the hikes and beaches. She just was dying to get the squirrels that were taunting her! Thank you for the use of the cabin.

Summary: I loved our stay here. First, it is a fun walk to the downtown and beach, if you have no mobility issues. I come from a very flat area, so loved walking the hills with my dog. Which brings me to my second point, I loved how dog friendly the home (and area!) were. My kids loved that there were multiple places that they could watch TV. The kitchen was well-equipped. The kitchen window view and chair swing were delightful. And last but not least, the hosts were so accommodating and kind. We hope to return!

Summary: This property was perfect for our trip to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. It was clean and well maintained. Would definitely recommmend if you are travelling to the area.

Summary: The cabin was lovely! Everything was clean and looked new. Beds were very comfortable. The view out the kitchen window was beautiful! Molly and Chet were wonderful. Molly's communication before and during our stay was excellent! She made suggestions regarding local things to do - all you have to do it let her know what you are interested in and ask her where to go do to it - sight seeing, tours, rentals! Highly recommend booking a Yooperlite tour/hunt with Molly & Chet while you are there - it was one of the highlights of our trip!
