Enjoy your getaway in this cozy Venice home located one block from Venice Beach and one block from the Venice Canals. You can easily walk to the world famous Venice Beach Boardwalk, stroll along the Venice canals, or shop to your hearts desire on Abbott Kinney. Located on the first floor of a duplex, you will have use of the entire first floor with a private entrance using a keypad which includes a living room, kitchen, dining area, 1 bathroom, 2 bedrooms, and a patio area.
The space
Enjoy your relaxing time in Venice while enjoying your morning coffee on the outdoor patio. This first level duplex is located between Venice Beach and the Venice Canals (1 block in either direction will take you to the beach or the canals). This home is located walking distance to Venice Beach and the ever popular Abbott Kinney Street with restaurants and shops. Take lovely walks on the canals to the beach and enjoy the sunset (beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach towels provided), Muscle Beach, or even play a game of paddle tennis at Venice Beach (paddles and balls provided).
The house has a Ring video surveillance camera located outside the perimeter of the property and front door and front and rear gates for security that are motion detected and record video and sound and will be active for the duration of your stay.
Guest access
As a guest of our home, you will have full access to the first floor of the duplex with a private entry using a keypad. This portion of our house has:
• two bedrooms and one bath. The first bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has a queen-size murphy bed
• a living room with a couch with electronic reclining seats;
• smart tv's located in the living room and both bedrooms;
• a kitchen with new appliances (oven, dishwasher, microwave), a coffee maker, microwave, blender, toaster, waffle maker. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils;
• a dining area in the kitchen as well as an outdoor patio area;
• a washer and dryer located in the garage that you enter from outside.
• a bathroom has a shower/bathtub and also has a shampoo/conditioner/bath gel dispenser in the shower;
• air conditioning that can be used during the months of June - September when the weather reaches 75 degrees or other months when there is an extreme heat wave;
• ceiling fans in each of the rooms;
• one designated parking space in the rear of the house in the driveway (please note that on Monday nights/Tuesday morning you may park your car in the garage due to street cleaning on Tuesday morning; and
• beach chairs, beach towels, and paddle tennis paddles for you to enjoy.
Interaction with guests
My husband and I live in the upper level of the duplex and am happy to help with anything you need. I will also respect your privacy if you don t need me for anything. We will make every effort to walk quietly upstairs when we have guests downstairs.

Smoking is not permitted in or on the property.
House is for 4 overnight guests only (no more than 6 people on property at any given time)

No congregating or loud noise on the patio between the hours of 10:00 PM and 9:00 AM

Summary: We loved our stay at Linda's place. The location was fabulous and she was the ideal host. Her home was exactly like the description and everything was so clean and worked perfectly. Linda helped us with anything we needed to know about the area and even loaned us a soft-sided cooler to take to the Hollywood Bowl. We had an amazing 5-night stay. We would recommend this place to friends and stay here again next time we're in the area. Thank you, Linda, for making this leg of our California vacation so wonderful!

Summary: We absolutely loved Linda’s place. Venice turned out a lot better than we hoped for, and being in her rental was a big part of it. It has an awesome location, you’re 30 seconds from the canals and 60 seconds from the beach. It’s close to everything – and yet, at night it’s quiet and serene. The place is clean, well-equipped, and really nice. For a family of four, it’s perfect. We met both Linda and Michael a few times and they were super-nice and gave great advice. We were 100% satisfied with this rental, it made LA great for us this time. (We more or less stayed on the beach the whole time!) Highly recommended!

Summary: We had an awesome rental experience. The place was just as advertised, in an excellent location between the canals and the beach, and the owners were great to work with. This rental allowed us to stay in a walkable area of a beach town while also being within a 30 minute drive of Hollywood and downtown LA. We would highly recommend this rental!

Summary: The location was perfect. Walk to many restaurants shops and the beach. Parking spot is key as it’s very hard to get parking in this area. The house has everything you need for cooking, BBQ, a day at the beach or even a family game night!

Summary: My husband and I spent three nights at Linda’s property. This is by far the best place we’ve stayed in the six years we have been visiting Southern California. It is close to the beach, canals, and restaurants. We walked everywhere and felt very safe. Linda was the greatest host! The house was super clean and literally had every amenity we needed (kitchen supplies, bathroom necessities, etc.) Linda was a great communicator and made everything super easy. We didn’t want to leave and plan on going back next year!!

Summary: My husband and two teenagers had a great stay at Linda’s generously appointed vacation home. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and she had absolutely everything you could ever want! Huge wins for our family were: lots of pillows, beach chairs, beach towels, plenty of bath towels, every appliance you could imagine. We felt very safe at her home and in the evening it was very quiet. We enjoyed sleeping with the doors open in the bedrooms as the security screen doors made us feel very safe. The back porch was so nice! I enjoyed reading my book and enjoying my coffee in the morning while my teens snoozed. The beach is a short walk (maybe a block and a half?) from the house and it was clean and quiet. The sand is smooth and there were no rocks so no need for water shoes. Linda gave us a great list of restaurants in the area and was very clear in her directions & quick to respond to questions. You will enjoy your stay at her home I am sure!!
