Positive: The hotel is in the city centre of Guilin and this is the most important thing. You can easily go around by foot to the pagodas, night markets and so on.

Negative: The facility is very old, so don't expect very new forniture and building. The hotel is very big so it is always crowded.

Positive: We always stay in this hotel when we go back to Guilin visiting family. 3 of us stay in a family suite comfortably with amble space. The location is fantastic, it is right in the old centre of Guilin. The staff are very professional and friendly. It would be the first choice for many visitors.

Negative: Used to have complementary evening snacks, which were missing this time.

Positive: Location was good, walking distance to scenic places, e.g. elephant trunk, pier for for boat rides and pedestrian street. We booked the room facing the lake, beautiful views at sunrise and sunset. Coffee at breakfast can be better. I remember the porridge and noodles were good.
