Positive: Elegant, high-ceilinged rooms slap-bang in the centre of town. Parking might be an issue - I don't know. Traditionally furnished common rooms with free tea/coffee and breakfast in the cafe across the street. It is one of those code entry places. I find that so impersonal that it would bump it down a notch. But the hotel phoned me after a member of the public spotted I'd left my bike keys on the bike. So personal service very much restored, and thank you to that samaritan.

Negative: No complaints.

Negative: There was no warm water in the evening, then I got a message that the water is missing in the morning from 7.30 to 9.30 and even before 7.30 there was no warm water.

Positive: Beds were comfortable. The room was cosy and it gave the feeling that you have entered another era. Breakfast was good, some snacks were available 24/7. The personal was very helpful.

Negative: Althought it was clean and cosy, some repairment should be done.

Summary: We loved the hotel, the character of the house and rooms. Definitely we would recommend it.
