Positive: The area and convenience for Chatsworth House was brilliant the house was v comfortable and had everything we needed. Great size and lively big kitchen with good utilities

Negative: Only thing is the wood burner was out of bounds but that was purely for upgrading reasons so no problem.

Summary: Great would definitely stay again

Negative: The car parking was very hard to get in and out with an another car parked opposite their all the time we were there. Also this was the first place we’ve stayed at that didn’t Have any hand wash or shower jell. So we had to go and buy some Which we left behind. Only cost a £1 .

Positive: Perfect location, sweet cottage with all we needed. Don't let my gripes below put you off staying. It was good for what we needed.

Negative: Some damaged bits - main oven didn't heat up and things like curtain hooks hanging out the wall, shower mat disgustingly mouldy. I also booked it because the images had a lovely looking bath - needed over a shower, arrived to find the bathroom has been refitted with just a walk-in shower, lovely, but not what was advertised. Did not appreciate the owner handing my telephone number out to the previous guests who were looking for some things they'd left behind (lovely people and was happy to have a look but no permission was sought before giving my number out).

Positive: Excellent location for nearby areas and a great little walk straight across the road and up through the wood where we found blackberries and raspberries! Well equipped kitchen and big bathroom. Plenty of space for me, my wife, two children and a toddler.

Negative: The road is narrow and lots of cars parked so can be a bit of a pain getting up and down, but that is a small price to pay for the great location!

Negative: Beds could be better

Positive: Clean , cosy and comfortable .

Negative: Lack of parking behind the property , very difficult to get a large car parked if other residents have already parked up , narrow road but couldn’t be helped. Heavy rain paid to a small leak in the master bedroom , spoke with the vendor via texted said they would sort it .

Negative: Parking, when we stayed a resident (completely legally and within their rights) parked opposite the parking space. This made parallel parking a little more challenging. You could probably park out the front if you wanted to no problem. We just preferred the back as it was quieter for loading and unloading our toddler.
