Positive: The place was spotless & had everything you could need. They have clearly taken any & all feedback on board & all of the little things that are often (understandably) missed were there, from utensils & stored cooker hobs to icepacks & coffee pods. We were extremely lucky to have deer visit the garden (& by the patio) on 3 of the 4 days we stayed & the hot tub (complete with crocks & gowns to make the few steps from the cottage more comfortable) was amazing & a great vantage point for the wildlife & country views. We were surprisingly ok getting in & out, even during the frosty days & evenings we experienced. It's actually a 9 seater, so there's plenty of space & changeable views depending on the stars, moon, sun & I guess if you're really lucky & they're feeling brave - deer. Jeremy was super friendly & had loads of useful tips about the surrounding area as well as a few treats, which I won't "spoiler' on here (or set him a precedent he has to stick to lol). The bed was super comfy & there's plenty of room in the cottage as well as places to store your things. The kitchenette is diddy, but they've done an amazing job at squeezing everything you need in without it feeling cramped & with a bit of fridge/cupboard tetris you can stock up and store a surprising amount of supplies. The bedroom, kitchenette & separate bathroom (with a great shower) occupy the original cottage footprint in a studio style while the lounge/dining area is in the light & roomy extension just off the kitchenette which works really well. I thought from the pictures that the tv might be a little small for the space, but it was actually fine & (when we weren't in the hot tub) it was great to snuggle up on the couch & relax after our daytrips.

Positive: Could not find fault with anything. Good hosts that have thought of everything. The cottage is beautiful. Hotub great. The variety if birds in the garden. Added bonus that the local black fallow deer come into the garden. Will definitely book again.

Negative: There's nothing I didn't like.

Positive: What a lovely Cottage. Large bedroom/kitchenette. Great walk-in shower. Fantastic, separate, large lounge/diner with views through the doors of the patio and birdfeeders. Views through the windows were of the owners large lawned garden area where deer visited. Well equipped. Cannot fault. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Thank you both!
