Positive: Le Masserie Zucaro is a beautiful place to stay with views to Castel del Monte. Well-appointed rooms, with terrace, coffee machine and mini fridge. Wonderful hospitality & incredibly delicious food - especially the 'reinforced' aperitif and breakfasts. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend to others.

Negative: We stayed in Winter (beginning Dec / off peak) and were the only people there. Although wonderfully quiet because of this, it did feel quite isolated. The restaurant was closed, and the common areas closed too, except for the dining room at breakfast. The grounds also looked neglected at this time of year. It didn't matter too much; however, it would have been good to know in advance. Internet was also a little patchy. Imagine it is even better when all the facilities are open.

Positive: We loved the location and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. We were the only guests and they prepared a lovely vegetarian lunch just for us. The room was huge and nicely decorated.

Negative: One of the reasons we booked this place was the hottub but during our stay it wasn't possible to use it unfortunately.

Positive: The view of Castel Del Monte on a hill in the distance is great. Dining room areas are very tastefully decorated and furnished with a casual up market vibe. There is a rooftop jacuzzi pool, but this cost 20 euros per person (not correctly described in the booking.com information.) Amazing breakfast and very helpful staff.
