Positive: Beautiful decor. The aprtment was spacious with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Host is responsive and helpful host. Situated one street behind old port making the apartmwnt convenient, safe, and quiet. location, in the heart of old port but one street back, quiet and safe with plenty of restaurant choices.

Negative: Beds were a bit uncomfortable with most beds only having sheets. We found only 1 comforter for 4 beds. Basic essentials, such as shampoo and body wash in the bathroom would have added a nice touch (a couple of bathrooms had only body wash). Air conditioning worked in the living room and the kitchen only (host brought in someone to take a look but wasn’t able to fix).

Summary: I would love to stay here again and visit the beautiful Marseille.

Negative: Outdated mattresses and not as clean (dusty wine glasses and dishwasher was not clean) as would have hoped. It’s a loft so sound carried

Positive: We had a great weekend in Marseille and the comfort and convenience of this apartment made a big difference to our overall experience. It is spacious and has everything you need but the location is the best part - right in the heart of the old port and walking distance from lots of bars and restaurants.

Negative: Some of the appliances and fittings can do with an upgrade and we would have liked a shower upstairs but nothing serious enough to spoil the great experience we had.
