Positive: We got a triple sharing sea view. It was a large room with wonderful views of the harbour that we really enjoyed in the day and at night

Negative: The shower water was a bit weak and there isn't a hook in the shower to hang clothes when showering

Negative: It wasn’t functional and apart from the view - no wardrobe or storage area, bath/shower area runs into bathroom, towels smells too strongly of bleach.

Positive: View from our room was excellent. Place was spotless and there was a kettle in room.

Negative: Staff not particularly helpful, the hotel was impersonal, breakfast was served to 9 only and when we arrived 10 minutes late, we were refused. Only local Korean food available in local vicinity so no place for breakfast. The room was small and had a strange arrangement with sink in room and not in bathroom which was uncomfortable. Had an automatic motion controlled light which was annoying as if one of us went to loo in the night it woke the other up. Japanese style toilet without English instructions - make sure you have google translate or you might get a roasted "behind" like i did as couldn't turn it off.

Summary: Shiny hotel with great views but not the most comfortable to stay in.

Positive: Stayed on the 22nd floor oceanside, view from the hotel room was absolutely incredible. Beautiful spot to wake up every morning. Lots to do on the island and easy to get to beach spots and other fun activities by bus. Nice fish market set up in front of the hotel nightly. Lovely rooftop cafe for breakfast in the mornings and laundry is affordable.

Negative: The full length mirrors in front of the toilet is a little disconcerting lol. Fan in the room was a little noisy at night. Nothing major at all 😊

Summary: Stay at Lavalese was incredible, with beautiful views every morning.
