Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had great stay. Our spot at Abbey del Sol was very clean and had some very nice touches. Such as snacks , coffee and the all important drinks in the fridge after a gruelling drive down the hiway. We had a problem with our fridge and it was immediately dealt with. Bravo to the Abbey.

We really enjoyed the fact that there were cold beers, coffee, sugar and snacks waiting for us upon arrival. The apartment and all facilities were extremely clean and pleasant. Staff are friendly, kind and helpful. Transportation arranged by Jin made getting to and from the airport so simple and stress free. We referred Abbey Del Sol to the flight attendant on our way home and he's booking a space!

Reviewer Comments: After having experienced 5 other accommodations in Puerto Morelos we have been coming back every winter to Abbey del Sol vir more than 10 years. The premises are beautiful, very close to the beach as well as the town center and the staff excels in looking after the guests. From one year to the next, they remember your needs and preferences and do everything in their power to make your stay comfortable. The place is very clean and well equipped - and if skmething is lacking they get it for you. We have never met any fellow guests who were not as happy and impressed with Abbey del Sol as we are - year after year.

I was a very charmed; was only able to stay one night- but I will be back and I will stay at Abbey del Sol! The process and service from booking to the communication to the check-in/check- out was exceptional. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and they had a smart TV, which are really important to me. They allowed me to check out an hour late without a fee and store my bags in the office. They have free bike rentals and it's a super easy way to get down to the restaurants which will only take you 5 minutes or so. There is not one other person at the pool and it was bliss! Muchas gracias
