This house is an easy UBER to and from Churchill Downs which is less than 15 min. away. Additional days may be available Kentucky Derby week- please ask if you would like to extend your stay on the front or back end and we will try to accommodate! Early check-in and late check-out is also flexible. Everything you need to enjoy the weekend is in close walking distance-whether you want to stock your bar at the neighborhood liquor store, grab a few grocery items or have them delivered. Restaurants have walk-in availability and are outside of the crowds from downtown but close enough to the action if you want to partake! The airport is only 10min from the house as well. This area comes alive during our favorite weekend in Louisville with much to celebrate and as hosts, we have been to Derby more than a dozen times- happy to share what we've learned about navigating the crowds!

Summary: The property was clean and spacious. There was plenty of room in the kitchen/dining room/living room area for a larger group to relax and socialize. The bedrooms were large and the beds were comfortable, including a new bed that was added to the house right before our stay. There were some fun games available at the house which were a nice addition to the rental. The appliances were all modern and clean. Wendy was very responsive and accommodating to requests from our group as well. The house is located in a nice area, close to a large park, and many restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Overall I recommend this property as a nice place to stay for a family or larger group.

Summary: I was SO impressed by this host and this property! Upon booking, the host asked me the reason our family was coming to Louisville and then provided us several top-notch referrals for both food and fun! The house had all the historic feels along with well-done renovations. Every corner of the house was clean and neatly decorated. Our family loved the location - walking distance to some restaurants and to the park. I was pleasantly surprised to see an espresso machine AND latte essentials already stocked in the fridge along with a basket of snacks on the counter! My family of 6 appreciated all the seating and spaces to relax in. Thank you for helping make our trip relaxing, memorable and easy with the in-home instructions and simple checkout process!

Summary: This house is great. Plenty of beds, great outdoor space and a massive fire pit to hang out at. It is walking to many coffee shops and restaurants. Short drive to the airport, and entertainment areas like NuLu. We also did a bourbon tour and they picked us up from the house. The host was great with lots of advice and even had a bottle of bourbon waiting for us on check in!
