Step onto the deck, soak in the lake and awesome view to Kingston. Just a few steps to the water - this very spacious 2000 sq. ft vintage appointed, 2 BR, 2 WC, suite is right in the centre of Wolfe Island's village, Marysville.
Soaring ceilings, freshly renovated, with pine floors, beautiful views and sunsets, outdoor dining, luxurious linens, our character filled Shopkeeper's Lakeside Apartment is the perfect place while visiting Wolfe Island.

The Shopkeeper's Lakeside Apartment is located on the second floor of the historical brick building on Main Street - which once served as a local store for many years.
As you walk in, you will be greeted with recently finished warm wooden floors and high vaulted ceilings.
The first bedroom plus detached bathroom is completed with a large fireplace (not in use) and a beautiful antique window. The second bedroom, or master bedroom, contains an en suite bathroom with shower and two beautiful tall windows allowing all the natural light to shine through. If you prefer to wake up slowly, we've added blackout curtains for each bedroom.
Each bed has been dressed with white cotton sheets, two different types of pillows - high and low size so you can choose your comfort - and a plush feather duvet, we've made it cozy. We want you to rest well.
The kitchen is fully stocked, meaning you could cook a turkey with roasted potatoes and have everything you need, if you felt so inclined. Sit at the kitchen bar. sip a drink and gaze at the lake through peek-a-boo windows.
When you reach the living room, enjoy the high ceilings, local art, and vintage touches. Glass patio doors lead to the deck and wonderful lakeside harbor views. We've added a record player and a few classics for you to enjoy while sitting on the settee and enjoying the view. You'll love the proximity to the water, local events and outdoor dining.
You're welcome to use the dock - just note that it is shared by our other guests on the property. You'll find great, fresh water, swimming here! Feel free to bring your own water toys.

Summary: We spent 4 nights at the shopkeepers apartment. It was our first trip to the thousand islands and it was interesting and fun. The apatment is clean and elegant with nice sheets and comfy beds. Rebecca is a lovely host. Big sandy bay beach was great.

Summary: Thank you Rebecca for being such a wonderful host . The apartment was spotless on our arrival and it had everything we needed for the few days we stayed . Such a wonderful location , we enjoyed the view from our deck and living room window seeing the ferry come and go and seeing the Kingston skyline lit up in the evening. We loved the island and the beautiful wildlife , everything from hawks, deer , many different birds and even four raccoons crossing the road in front of us and many local cows and horses . We will be looking forward to returning again and exploring the island in different seasons . Theresa and Joe

Summary: My family and I really enjoyed our stay! Great location within walking distance of meals and beverages; great sunsets from balcony/deck; very quiet; clean; very nice and responsive host. Highly recommend for weekend getaway. Note the Cape Vincent USA ferry is out of service; access only from Kingston ferry.
