Positive: This property is self catering. The log cabin is only 1.5 meters from the bank of the river, with fish and ducks. We do not fish but the location was idyllic, so beautiful and peaceful. Every morning we sat on the veranda with a cuppa and watched the ducks paddle along the river. If you fish it would be even more ideal, with several well stocked lakes. Everything is provided in the cabin if you like to cook for yourself, although we ate evening meals out. Pubs serving food are close by. I would advise taking a fan, as the cabins are very warm.

Negative: The only improvement I would suggest is to provide fans in the cabins.

Positive: Beautiful peaceful location. Well equipped lodge with good quality bedding and towels. Very cosy and warm for unseasonal cold temperatures. Husband really enjoyed the fishing.

Negative: Husband struggled to get comfy in the bed due to being 6ft 3.

Summary: Very enjoyable and will definitely look to visit again.

Positive: The place was clean and nice and peacefull snd the fact you can just walk out the door and fish and you freely safe leaving your gear wile you go for food then return its that safe. Will be going aging and booking the cabin again. Rachel was excellent host.
