Positive: You absolutely get what you pay for, if not more. The place is simple but it has everything you need and it’s clean, with not too many mosquitoes because of the nice breeze that blows all day long. The view is amazing and it’s really quiet, with the access of a private cute beach near to a very interesting snorkling area. You can also order food (tasty, healthy and home made) for good prices or walking to the restaurant nearby which is slightly more expensive. They also rent motorbikes for cheap prices. The family is nice and they provide everything you need. We spent there 12 days while I had to study and we had an amazing stay.
Negative: There’s absolutely nothing to complain about for this price. Yes, it’s simple, yes sometimes the electricity goes off (for max 20/30 min) and food takes some time (btw, you can order it in advance and the problem is solved). I have the feeling that anyone who has any complaints is the kind of person who doesn’t know how to function in the world—someone who expects luxury standards but has no intention of paying for them.

Positive: We warmly recommend La Villa Atla for your stay in Siquijor! The room is great, with a beautiful sea view, all for a very fair price. You’ll have access to a private beach and a large, peaceful garden. The place is close to Larena and less than 10 minutes from Tulapos, one of the best marine sanctuaries in Siquijor. The owners are very welcoming and can prepare delicious food. Don’t hesitate any longer!

Positive: The place is secluded, but that’s just what I needed. I loved being there, it’s very private and the beach is just there, very nice for swimming when the tide is high. The cabin was clean and comfy.
Negative: The food is decent, but very limited healthy options, and there’s almost no dinning places around. There’s no kitchen, no service water either, so I couldn’t stay more than a few days, sadly. The owner was quite rude in every approach, but her daughter Charlotte was really kind and lovely.
