Positive: If you’re looking for a place that nails the "lowkey luxe" vibe, this is it. The resort is incredibly well-designed, and you can tell so much thought went into the intricate details of every piece of furniture. What really made the trip for us, though, was the people. The owner, Silva and his team are some of the friendliest people we’ve met—they were so polite and made us feel completely taken care of from start to finish. And the food? Honestly, impeccable. Silva serves up Michelin-standard dinners that had us constantly excited for the next meal. Also, a quick tip: do not skip the bread at breakfast—it was easily our favorite part of the morning!
Negative: While the stay was incredible, there are a few logistical bits to keep in mind. The resort is tucked away and a bit hard to reach on your own, as it’s about a 20-minute drive from the station. We had to arrange a pickup with the resort beforehand, but the good thing is they do offer a dedicated shuttle service to handle the traveling time to and fro.
Summary: An impeccable blend of lowkey luxury and Michelin-standard dining that made every minute of the commute well worth it.

Positive: Location in the valley, uniqueness of accommodation , excellent evening meals, interior aesthetic was fab.
Negative: Our booking changed without prior notice to a forest lodge outside of the farmhouse. Whilst this was not a problem - prior communication before we arrived would have been appreciated. Likewise on the second evening we were told on the morning that our evening meal would be a 40 minute drive in LaTerra’s other location. This meant cutting short our day’s activities. Some thought ought to be given to the heating of the forest lodges. Having been out all day and returning after the evening meal, we would have appreciated the staff heating the accommodation for us. It was cold when we returned. Meals were fabulous but we were not consulted on dietary requirements which meant that on the final day, we could not eat a large portion of our breakfast.
Summary: Wonderful, unique, but communication with the customer needs to be considered as a whole.
