Positive: Wow! La Perla is amazing! Beautiful set up with lovely gardens and pool. The room was spacious and all to a high standard. Ihre, Nelson and the team were awesome - super helpful and friendly. The food was another level….super fresh, amazingly prepared and plentiful to say the least and all in a great setting. We had a late night departure and Nelson was kind enough to do us late night food before we departed as we were missing breakfast the next morning…just above and beyond. It was nice to be able to pop over the road to the beach or just grab a tuktuk into town. Cannot recommend this highly enough!!

Positive: Very nice place not far from beach (we were shown the short cut). Nice pool. Good hosts and staff. Trips etc they organised worked well. Food was good although portions too big!

Negative: We were at wrong time of year so could not swim in sea as too dangerous. We would have used bikes if they had them to hire

Summary: Nice base for a few days relaxing and making trips to see Geoffrey Bawa's building and a lagoon trip
