Positive: The location of the property is amazing. The staff is friendly and supportive. The dinner was completely worth it, included breakfast is also diverse. The pool is clean, you have enough place to swim and get some sun light. There is also jacuzzi. The whole place has a lot of space to walk around.

Positive: The agriturismo is in a perfect location to explore south east Sicily. We visited Palazzolo Acreide, Modica, Siracusa/Ortigia, Ragusa and Noto easily by car from La Mela Di Venere and all were well worth the trip! We stayed in the triple room with terrace and it was very comfortable for the 2 of us. We appreciated the loveseat in the sitting area for reading or enjoying a pre-dinner cocktail and the mini fridge for storing beverages. We found the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size and the toiletries provided were a nice quality. Our hosts Giuliana and Salvo were very accommodating. We took a wrong turn on our way and got a bit lost (don’t trust Google maps!). Salvo very kindly met us in his truck and escorted us to the property. We ate dinner there 3 nights out of 5 and it was outstanding. After the first night we asked to share 1 portion between the 2 of us because the servings are so large. Breakfast was very good, better than most in Italy. Although we did not use it, the infinity pool is gorgeous, as is the property generally.

Negative: We really enjoyed our stay at La Mela Di Venere but we did notice a couple of things that could be improved upon. The property is out in the country (a good thing!) and Google maps tried hard (and succeeded once on arrival) to send us down some very challenging roads. I notice other guests have mentioned this in reviews and I think a message describing the best way to get to the property a day or two before check-in would be very helpful. Our only other suggestion would be to put some hooks in the bathroom for towels and perhaps turn the temperature up a bit on the hot water heater. I found showers just a little bit cooler than I would like.

Positive: Beautiful property and lovely pool- refreshingly cool late September. Staff was wonderful with great service- so friendly. We had breakfast and dinner there and loved the experience. Delicious and fresh! The pomegranate juice was fresh from the property.

Negative: The property is inland accessed from winding roads, which is part of the experience to be in the countryside. For people that may not be looking for that experience, just be aware, but it was close for a wedding we attended. We enjoyed the property for our short stay.
