Positive: Very comfortable and spacious room with a small private balcony, with clothes drying rack and pegs. Maria had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable- there was a night light in the bathroom, space for luggage, reading material and refreshments. Her restaurant recommendations were great. We were able to park for free in a nearby piazza. If driving, I would recommend not follow satnav instructions- follow Maria’s. Maria was very kind, thoughtful and accommodating.

Positive: Very good breakfast choice at the bar, only a few minutes walk. Coffee and snacks in the room were a nice addition.

Summary: The hosts were lovely, very eager to help and very friendly. We felt very comfortable here.x

Positive: The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. The place beautiful and celebrates the authenticity and character of Sicily. The location perfect close to most restaurants and sites to visit in town. Can't talk highly enough of the place and it's hosts.

Positive: I traveled with my male partner, and well, as a gay couple when travelling, sometimes some things can go funny ways - not this time. Maria made the room available before regular check-in time, communicated timely before our arrival and before our flight. we gave some notice on when we would arrive and she met us, handed over the keys and her and husband Franco explained a couple of things and gave us directions on what to see and when. Maria and Franco are exceptional hosts; they went extra miles to respond to our questions and even arranged us a dreamy unforgettable, [unmissable!] boat trip which, due to the low-season, was not shared with anyone else! They invited us for dinner [more than once] and introduced us to their friends - really - they are the real Sicilian deal of attentive, masterful hospitality and they will leave you to wonder why you didn't Sicily sooner. As for the location, Palazzolo Acreide is the right base to explore South-Eastern Sicily. We did frequent road trips to all the sights - Noto, Marzamemi, Scicli, Ragusa, Modica, Siracusa, Piazza Armerina, and we also visited Catania as we arrived at Catania airport. I personally recommend a stay of minimum 7 days in this area as such is the wealth of things to see and do. The room is comfortable, newly furnished and clean. both the Pillows and the mattress are high end and provide a very comfortable sleep. With the room there is an initial provision of coffee pods, water, and other breakfast and snack items, and Italian breakfast is provided at one of the local pasticcerie.
