Positive: The property and location are superb. The town of Castel Gandolfo was an utter delight. Lots of excellent places to eat and drink in beautiful surroundings with lovely, friendly staff. The property is exemplary. Beautifully furnished and refurbished. Plenty of space, especially in the bedrooms and bathrooms with a glorious view over the lake. Showers were hot and aircon kept us warm in the cooler October evenings but cool during the sunny daytime. Check in and out was easy. The balcony is quite small but plenty big enough for the two of us and the views were gorgeous. The TV was high quality with TVs in the bedrooms as well, all with netflix etc. WiFi was fast and reliable. We also had no problem getting a phone signal. Free parking was available a couple of minutes away and it always felt safe leaving the car there. Nico, who greeted us, was a lovely chap. He showed us around quickly, gave us some tips and then left us to get on with our holiday. We appreciated the provisions he left for us after a long journey. Coffee, milk, water and wine to name a few. Communication was excellent throughout and thankfully, his English was a million times better than my Italian. Overall, one of the very best apartments and locations we have enjoyed over the years.

Negative: Everything was great. Maybe a bigger bin but only because we kept ending up with pizza boxes from the lovely restaurants. 😁

Positive: Overall, we had a fantastic stay in La Loggia for 2 days. Location-wise: It’s near the center, Castel Gandolfo’s piazza and municipio with a magnificent view of Lake Albano. The place is walking distance to the Papal Palace&Museum, Centromariapoli and public transportation. There are a lot of trattorias/restaurants nearby just 5 minutes walk. Waking-up to a spectacular view of the lake on the Italian Countryside is a memory we will forever treasure. Property/Apartment: The place was so clean, organized and very complete. Every detail of the house was well-thought of. It was designed through a traveller’s perspective. The kitchen has all the utensils needed, coffee machine, cookingwares, wine glasses. The place was ideal for intimate slumber party 😜 There’s a laundry machine and dryer which was helpful for us since we needed to do our laundry for our 21-days trip across europe. The interior design was so nice with a femine touch. There’s even facial wipes make up remover, sanitary napkins which are not usually provides even in 5-star hotels. A welcoming treat was prepared for us, a bottle of Prosecco, biscuits, candies, chocolates.A very thoughtful gesture. Host: The owner Mr. Niccolo was very kind and thoughtful. He welcomed us upon arrival and sent-us off with a bag of white pizza. How nice of him, a taste of Italian hospitality. Overall, this place exceeded my expections. I would definitely recommend this place in Castel Gandolfo.

Negative: Just a little suggestion: It would be very much appreciated if reusable slippers will be provided.

Positive: We stayed for 5 nights at this apartment in Castel Gandolfo and had a wonderful experience. The place is tasteful decorated with a nice balance of modern style and comfort. Everything looks high quality and thoughtfully chosen, from the furniture to the kitchen appliances. The beds deserve high praise for comfort. Cleanliness was exceptional - the apartment was spotless from top to bottom. You could tell the owners really care about maintaining it well. The owner and his son were incredibly friendly and helpful. They welcomed us warmly, showed us around the apartment, and gave great local recommendations. Whenever we had questions, they were quick to respond and genuinely wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The welcoming prosecco, cookies and chocolates were a very nice touch. The apartment has everything you need, the central heater worked perfect, we didn't need the airco installed, is very well-maintained and very peaceful and quit. The location in Castel Gandolfo is perfect for exploring the area, enjoy the small town and all its restaurants, The views of Lake Albano are unsurpassed when you enjoy the morning sun sitting outside on the small balcony. We highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean place with excellent hosts. It's a great choice for your stay in this beautiful part of Italy.

Negative: Although you can drive-up to the front entrance of the apartment, it's a very narrow street and for those not accustomed to driving in typical Italian small streets and / or driving anything bigger than a classical Fiat 500, this is not recommended. You'll can park your car in a free parking area about a couple hundred meters away from the apartment.
