Positive: Great location, we were on street side, next time I'd pick a back room with balcony. Breakfast was adequate. Lovely neighborhood to explore, lots of restaurants, felt very safe.

Negative: Room was a bit musty, bathroom was dark.

Positive: The location is great but it is worth mentioning it is up on a hill, the view over the Terrasse is very Valparaiso.

Negative: This house is gorgeous but needs serious renovation. Our room had caulking over black mould all around the bathroom. They tried to print over the door but did such a poor job the dirt was showing underneath. There was a mystery smell in our room the whole time despite keeping the window open 24/7. It was cheap but like they always say you get what you paid for! Don't get fooled by the pretty pictures, like we did.

Positive: I had stayed here before and I'm so glad the service was as good as the last time. A peaceful breakfast at the terrace listening to the birds and seagulls was simply magic. Very comfy bed, clean place, lovely view to the colourful hills of Cerro Alegre and a good price.

Negative: The plug I had my phone charging in wasn't working properly.

Positive: The hostel manager was very helpful. She allowed us to make a cup of tea when we arrived and gave us cups to use. She also supplied us with wine glasses. The breakfast was excellent. Lovely terrace at the back of the hostel for relaxing. In a safe area.We were able to leave our luggage for a few hours after we checked out.

Negative: Nothing really. It was a great hostel

Positive: Amazing location, the staff were all lovely and helpful, and the balcony was a wonderful place to sit and look out at the hills. The bedroom was really comfortable.

Negative: On one of our days there the breakfast was randomly not provided and no discount was offered. Had some issues with the hot water in the showers too.
