Positive: Spacious room, extremely nice shower. A terrace on the top floor with a kitchen, even though it was very poorly equipped. Very good price.

Negative: Poorly equipped kitchen, cold room (could not close window in bathroom), very noisy from the street and no chair or small table in the room. Very simple breakfast.

Positive: Early check in! Staff was friendly-ish. Pretty good private room since nowhere in Chachapoyas has a dorm. I added an extra night since my bus was cancelled and they accommodated me.

Negative: 8 am checkout is kind of crazy imo. Also someone entered my room on two occasions without knocking or introducing themselves. The communication between staff could be better.

Summary: Overall Fine experience.

Positive: The room was fine, if basic, and clean (plus there is a cleaning service during the day) and it has a TV with Netflix. The bathroom was also very ok and it had hot water. For the price, it's a good deal.

Negative: There was a window panel missing above the door, so any goings-on in the corridor sounded like they were happening in the room and the light from the corridor shone directly into our room as well. We stuffed things in there to stop the light and feel a little more privacy. The windows to the road don't seal properly, so the traffic noise can be quite loud (recommend earplugs).
