Positive: Marita left a dessert and some sodas in the refrigerator for us. Also, she gave us some recommendations for tours around Merida.

Negative: The management team/Owners should consider having bottle water in the water dispenser; even if they have to charge a fee. We arrived at the property after 11 pm and we had to walk at midnight a few blocks away to an Oxxo store to buy drinking water. We contacted the water deliver service guy, and he told us that they only deliver 2 days per week, so we had to wait 2 days with out the water delivery service. This was very inconvenience to us after a whole day of traveling. Drinking water from the faucet is not recommended. Also, the management should consider adding an AC unit to the living room since they only have AC units in the bedrooms. We struggle to cooldown the main living area. Lastly, the pool cleaning service guy never come to do the cleaning during our stay.

Summary: We love the decoration of the house!

Positive: The house is absolutely beautiful, it is an old house that has been restored with great taste. It is so well equipped and enormous. So many beautiful features, the tiles, the doors, the wall muriels. It is a little damp in places but that almost adds to the charm. Marita was really helpful and responsive and I can't recognise place highly enough. I will add some photos so you can see some of its beauty.

Positive: Summary: this place is a great house. Truly! It however needs a good (regular) cleaning of the pool, a better ventilation to prevent molding and immediate repairs when things break. The airconditioning works very well and there are enough kitchen utilities present to cook meals. Beware of the muscito’s, bring repellant when visiting this house. It sleeps 5 persons and is very spacious. All in all a good house but in need of some attention. The local host was very helpful!! She left fruit juice and biscuits for us upon arrival. So thoughtful!

Negative: The house is great, albeit that in all the rooms moist is present and some mold can be detected in sleeping rooms. The plaster is coming off from the walls in several rooms. When we arrived, the washing machine was broken and only after some pressure it was fixed on day 2. When staying only for three or four nights when traveling, this was not so handy. Ome of the toilets did not flush. This was not repaired despite several requests on day 1. We travelled with a son who needed to use this toilet more often during the night and filling buckets of water to flush the toilet is not very nice to do. The swimming pool had algea growing on the inside of the walls and the floor. We were told to go out and buy our own garbage bags since the bags were not present

Positive: What an amazing house! Kept in the Campechean Style, the check in was very easy, the instructions extremely precise. Parking in the street was very easy. The owners got in touch with us and guided us through the check in and all our stay there. The house is well equipped, comfy and just pretty. Calm, but central neighbourhood. Highly to recommend. Thank you for hosting us!
