Positive: OK, people, hear me out; this is an 11 out of 10. The casa offers great balance of impeccable, professional service and deeply personalised treatment. Giovanna and Daniel are just great and nothing seems to be too much hussle for them. The garden and the swimming pool area are dead gorgeous, while the casa is spotless clean. No need to look elsewhere in Merida for a comfortable and memorable stay. I have asked them to adopt me and I am waiting to see whether they will let me stay at the casa indefinately. Guys, thanks for everything. Hasta luego!

Positive: What an oasis in the middle of Merida! It is such a beautiful house, so lovingly decorated and smelt wonderful! Giovanna and Daniel were the sweetest, most generous hosts we have ever experienced, it truly felt like they loved hosting people. We stayed in the king room at the back of itself, which was huge and bordered on to its own private patio. The place is also within 15 mins walk of Merida centre, but also with some amazing local bars and restaurants within 5-10 mins walk. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Positive: Our stay at Casa Tres Colibres was one of the highlights of our trips to Mexico. Giovanna and Daniel were extremely warm hosts and made our stay really special. The house is beautiful and the area around the pool is a perfect place to relax after a day exploring!

Negative: Little bit less central than we expected, but the centre is still walkable and there is a good market nearby where we had some delicious food.

Positive: Casa Tres Colibries is beautiful. It is like an oasis in the middle of an active and thriving part of the town of Merida. The home property has all the comfort and charm of old Mexico 🇲🇽 with lovely decorations to enjoy and admire ~ from the pottery and art and landscaping to the cooling swimming pool and the flowers and trees, especially the Alamo Tree that gets It’s life from the cenote underground. Precious and timeless atmosphere all around.

Negative: There was not any part of the property to dislike

Positive: This is an exceptionally beautiful traditional house with many places to enjoy including patio, pool and rooftop terrace. Our room was very large and specious with extra high ceilings, large and well equipped bathroom and comfortable bed. Our host Giovanna was friendly and helpful in too many ways to describe. Nice continental breakfast is served everyday, in a very pleasant dining area. The location of the property is at once quite and peaceful and yet minutes from the main square and center of Merida. If we ever come back to Merida we will not stay anywhere else

Giovanna’s flexibility and attentiveness made me feel cared for throughout my stay, and Daniel’s willingness to teach me some Mayan phrases added a unique, personal touch. The house is beautifully decorated with a distinct charm, and the shared spaces were perfect for relaxing. Coming from New Orleans in the winter, the warm weather and peaceful atmosphere were exactly what I needed.
