Positive: Our stay at Casa Tres Colibres was one of the highlights of our trips to Mexico. Giovanna and Daniel were extremely warm hosts and made our stay really special. The house is beautiful and the area around the pool is a perfect place to relax after a day exploring!

Negative: Little bit less central than we expected, but the centre is still walkable and there is a good market nearby where we had some delicious food.

Positive: Casa Tres Colibries is beautiful. It is like an oasis in the middle of an active and thriving part of the town of Merida. The home property has all the comfort and charm of old Mexico 🇲🇽 with lovely decorations to enjoy and admire ~ from the pottery and art and landscaping to the cooling swimming pool and the flowers and trees, especially the Alamo Tree that gets It’s life from the cenote underground. Precious and timeless atmosphere all around.

Negative: There was not any part of the property to dislike

Summary: A perfect beautiful shelter and home to relax and have a good night’s sleep in old Mexico style of beautiful Mexico.

Positive: This is an exceptionally beautiful traditional house with many places to enjoy including patio, pool and rooftop terrace. Our room was very large and specious with extra high ceilings, large and well equipped bathroom and comfortable bed. Our host Giovanna was friendly and helpful in too many ways to describe. Nice continental breakfast is served everyday, in a very pleasant dining area. The location of the property is at once quite and peaceful and yet minutes from the main square and center of Merida. If we ever come back to Merida we will not stay anywhere else

Giovanna’s flexibility and attentiveness made me feel cared for throughout my stay, and Daniel’s willingness to teach me some Mayan phrases added a unique, personal touch. The house is beautifully decorated with a distinct charm, and the shared spaces were perfect for relaxing. Coming from New Orleans in the winter, the warm weather and peaceful atmosphere were exactly what I needed.

Negative: Honestly, there wasn’t anything I didn’t like. The experience exceeded my expectations in every way.

Positive: My wife and I have travelled a lot of our world and Casa Tres Colibries is one of the most perfect places that we have stayed. The breakfast, the room, the shared areas, the pool and the staff were as close to perfect that we have found. Giovanna, our host could not have been more welcoming, helpful or knowledgeable. She made sure that every guest felt comfortable and valued. She often sent messages to my phone regarding restaurants, special events, etc. My wife and I will definitely visit this area again and we will refer friends and family.

Positive: Beautiful hotel with friendly and attentive hospitality. This boutique hotel is in walking distance to many historical and cultural sites around Mérida. Great restaurants nearby, too. Giovanna (hotel owner) shared excellent recommendations for activities in the area throughout our stay. She was incredibly helpful, kind, and welcoming. We look forward to returning!
