Summary: This was a lovely boutique hotel. It was not in pristine condition... but had a lot of charm. I love that each room is different and LOVED the artwork in my room, which added a splash of inspiration. I was only there on a quick trip, but the location is fabulous, less than a block to the beach, shops, restaurants - walking distance.

Summary: Our room was small. We had an end unit so we could see the ocean from the third floor and you could open the windows for fresh air. The toilet was one of those industrial flushing kind you see at stadiums. There was little countertop area so only one person could use the sink area at a time. There is no pool and parking is off property up the street. The view from the rooftop bar/restaurant is nice but the food is mediocre.

Summary: Roof closed too early and opened too late. Snack breakfast was too simple. AC was loud and obnoxious. Free parking was a plus I guess. Bed was okay.

Summary: I saw the amazing reviews and thought pshhh. Yeah we will see about this! And it did not disappoint. If you like history and charm and the hacienda style you’ll love this hotel.

Summary: I came in a weary traveler to the front desk, I was early could I park my car in the hotel parking lot and walk around, Yes Natalie said!! She also pointed out the rooftop bar that was open....let the relaxation begin. The rooftop bar needs some updating and love but it is on the roof! View was the ocean. Food was so so My room was amazing it was the individually decorated surf room! So cool so southen Calif looking. Very spacious room and bathroom was clean and updated. I also went walking and right next door was a place to get a facial and/or massage. I had a very needed walk on the beach which is just a few steps away. I will return.

Summary: My husband and I made this trip to celebrate our Anniversary. This is a super cute, quaint boutique hotel in a perfect location. Shops and restaurants all around and a short walk to the beach. The roof top bar is awesome! There is a restaurant downstairs that we thought of trying but it was completely empty every time we walked by. Our room was on the 3rd floor, which is right above the lobby. One night there was a loud group having a fun time in the lobby. The noise really carries up to the 3rd floor, which made it hard to fall asleep that night. Also, the bed/pillows are not very comfortable. If you are traveling from close by, bring your own pillow! Overall, great stay, we enjoyed it!
