Summary: The cottage was the perfect place to stay to enjoy Laguna Beach. A quick walk to the beach and downtown, close drive to hiking trails and amazing scenery. Everything on the “business side” was easy (communication, check-in/check-out) and the cottage was clean and the perfect size for our group of 6. Definitely recommend!

Summary: Sleeper sofa mattresses were very worn and terribly stained. not useable. AC barely worked and it happened to be very warm that week. The unit never cooled down the cottage. The floor fans that were provided did not work. There was a terrible sewer gas smell in the upstairs shower whenever it was used. The unit was very tired and in need of significant repairs and updating.

Summary: Our poor experience started out when we could the provided entry code did not work. When we contacted the property manager, he realized it had not been cleaned. He said he would get ahold of a cleaner and let us know when it was ready. We finally got in at 9 pm instead of the promised 3 pm. The next day we realized that we did not have internet connection or TV. The only channel we got was a shopping channel. My daughter had planned to work from this rental, so this was not acceptable. Working with the property manager we finally got access to TV and the internet 2 days later. This was unacceptable to kids and adults alike. The kitchen was very under stocked. We did not cook there. The beds were comfortable and the two bedrooms large, but the close proximity of businesses, and the crashing from a recycling plant made for a very unrelaxing stay. I would not recommend this property. It is definitely not as described and we did not have a good experience.

Summary: Such a great spot in Laguna Beach! Walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants, just between the HIP District and downtown area. It was so easy to navigate around town! As another reviewer noted, the furnishings are not the same as pictured on the listing. This was a bit of a disappointment, but didn’t put a damper on our trip. We would gladly stay again if the living room and patio had more seating options for a family of four.

Summary: First, the photos of the property are totally inaccurate. There is no table outside on the patio. The table inside the unit was tiny (4 people could not eat at it), so we were counting on that outside table to eat on. The couch, chairs and coffee table pictured in the living room are not the ones in the unit. The ones in the unit are very poor quality. The photos of the loft are also inaccurate. The loft does not have those cute folding chairs. It has a low quality sofa with gross stains on the pull-out couch. The photo of the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms are accurate. The coffee maker did not work (the water leaks out of the bottom), the toaster was unusable, and there was only 1/3 of a roll of paper towels and no kitchen towels (as pictured). If you have small children, this is not the place for you. There are a lot of stairs between each room, so many places for toddlers to climb and fall. Overall, the location was great, but the condition of the home is much different than pictured in the listing. The cleanliness was average. I would not recommend this listing to a family, but it would be fine for a couple (as long as you don't need coffee or a toaster).

Summary: In town for daughters swim meet in Irvine, but wanted to stay closer to the beach. This was the perfect distance (20 mins from pool) and walkable to beach, shopping, eating, everything!

Summary: This Vrbo was perfect for our group of 5! It was just as pictured and had everything we needed. It even had 2 irons and a hairdryer which came in handy as we were attending a wedding reception one night. We rented a car but didn’t even end up moving it from the provided parking spot all weekend because everything was within walking distance!
