Positive: Beautiful island, villas are spacious and updated and located secluded, bed is comfortable, buffet has very good selection with teas and coffee included. Views are breathtaking, during house reef snorkeling can see variety of sea life, including black tip shark, turtles, stingrays. Staff are very welcoming and accommodating, can't wait to visit again

Positive: Overall just a regular large resort. Good thing is, even though it's a very large resort, it never felt crowded. The sea view is nice, and unobstructed (water vila).

Negative: (Disclaimer: our comparison reference is Kandolhu with a much higher price point) For the overwater villa, I think the mattress quality should be improved. The food variety is quite good overall, but the deserts repeat a lot and become repetitive quite quickly. Buggys don't run as often as one would hope, which most times meant we would walk and reach destination before we saw any buggy drive past. The snorkeling experience near the water villas is not great, you find much smaller quantities of fish than in (for example) Kandolhu where the house reef is buzzing. The resort doesnt seem to make good use of sea front for restaurants/bars, or maybe they are all so tucked away that you don't get the pull to go in.

Summary: An OK resort, but not sure worth £800/night
