Positive: The property is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The flat is ingenious designed, and has all of the facilities we wanted. We cooked several meals while staying at the flat, and had all the pots, pans, and utensils we needed to make a good meal. The hosts were friendly and actually stopped by to help with a weather-related issue. Some days we used mass transit and found that bus stops were clearly marked and close by. I should add that internet speeds were good.

Negative: One can't fault the hosts for the odd recycling scheme in place across the island. We found the idea of waking up early on a daily basis to put various types of trash out to be unappealing, but again, that's a Malta issue, not a KUCCA one, and didn't impact our rating. The reason we had to use mass transit was that parking in this part of town, indeed in much of Malta, was difficult; there are just more cars than spaces.

Positive: Beautifully decorated property with clear instructions where to find everything. Great location to get around malta if you have a car. Responsive and helpful host.

Negative: It was very difficult to find parking most days. We had to search quite far to find anywhere to park.

Positive: We had a great time in the accommodation. The old house was converted with a great concept and there are many well thought-out architectural details to discover, such as hidden storage elements or the discreet entrances to the bathrooms. The choice of materials and their interplay deserve special mention. From the tiles to the wooden elements and the lighting, everything has been perfectly coordinated. The view from the roof terrace is worth it and the central location makes it a great starting point for exploring Malta. You also get a bit of exercise for free if you realize on the roof terrace that you have forgotten something in the kitchen in the cellar or need a new drink from the fridge 😉.

Negative: Kitchen could need a few more items if you really want to cook there

Positive: Lovely renovated house, everything you need is available, rooftop great in summertime. Luxurious bathrooms, well equipped kitchen: oven, microwave, Nespresso, freezer etc. No dishwasher but we had a teenager with us ;-) Village close to Valletta and any other destination on the island. Bus service to Valletta is frequent and stops are near, 5-6 min. There are some good restaurants in the village, definitely try Lokomotif and Tax-Xiha. Lidl supermarket within 15 min by car.

Negative: You hear the planes but it's not annoying at all. Street parking can easily be found at 5-8 min. walk from Kucca without entering the narrow streets, try the area around Patrick print.

Positive: + Beautifully renovated town house + Excellent location to explore Malta. Valletta and Mdina, for example, are only a short drive away. We rented a car, so I’m not sure how easy it would be to get around with public transport. Parking the car, however, was never a hassle in Zebbug (as opposed to Valletta I assume). + Lovely rooftop terrace. Perfect for having a coffee in the morning before going out. Can really recommand the Pancake Parlour for a cappuccino and breakfast! + Probably the best mattress and pillow I’ve ever slept on! + Excellent communication! Roderick and Alexia provided all the information we needed by text. We didn’t need anything more, but I’m pretty sure if that would have been the case, they would have been happy to assist. + We couldn’t have asked for more 💛

Negative: - The bathrooms are quite moody and dark, which makes it a bit of a challenge to apply your make-up. - Tip: bring some earplugs if you’re like me and sleep with the windows open. Both bedrooms are facing the street and morning commute starts early 😉

Positive: Very nicely done townhouse and one gets a glimpse of local life.

Negative: More the location, as Zebbug has many planes fly over that have just taken off, and noise is very present.At times 3 in one minute ( we counted).
