Positive: This is a perfect place to stay in Stari Grad to experience the atmosphere of the city founded almost 2500 years ago. It is a place where you could feel like you just walked into Fellini’s Amarcord so you can dive into the romanticised history of the old cities in the south. The house is located in a pedestrian area, just a few paces from the waterfront. Restaurants, cafes, shops, everything is just a minute or two away on foot. Beaches are not far away and also reachable on foot. There is no dedicated parking and there are parking places nearby, so just be prepared that you will have a short walk to the house and choose your luggage wisely (trolley, spinner…). The owners are charming people, always at the disposal for their guests and can help you to get to know Stari Grad, where to go, what to see and do while there. The house is fully equipped with all appliances, cleaning agents, toiletries etc. A rooftop terrace is a gem, with a lot of green plants in the pots and a shower. You want sun, use the deck chairs. You want shade, there is a table with chairs. This old town house is made of stone and fully renovated with love, an eye for a detail, and with a lot of skill. This house is a reflection of the owners’ personalities, and was also “a nest” for their family while their children were growing up. You will feel like home. It is not some faceless, mass-market, “looking exactly the same as thousand other” houses for rent. If you expect to find the uniformed look in the rooms of this house, go find some other property. Furniture is new, except for some antique items. Those older furniture pieces have been saved from falling apart, renovated, put to their new use, and the owners can tell you stories about those pieces, of people who lived there generations ago, and even of people and their catchphrases which were built into the collective memory of our nation some 40-50 or even more years ago. Staying in this house was an amazing experience.

Positive: Excellent! Rozita and Oliver are great hosts.They go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Took advantage of the location of the gorgeous house to walk to dinner, and have drinks. It was great, the house is equipped with all that you need, one of the best we've ever been privileged enough to stay at. Thank you Rozita & Oliver, Hvala lipa!
