Summary: 2 night stay in Koyasan. Everything you would expect from a temple stay. Chanting prayers at 5.00am, meditation at 6.00am. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful with directions and onward transportation information

Summary: The food is really weak here. I know it’s a monastery and it is what the monks cook and eat, but come on - price for staying here has nothing to do with simplicity or modesty. I think they could do much better with the money they charge.
