Positive: The place is charming, lovely garden, very nice staff, the owner is very friendly, the welcome and goodbye ceremony is amazing and touching, the kindness of the people is heart warming, the breakfast buffet was good and lot of choice. But try to book the front bungalow it makes a huge difference

Negative: Unfortunately we had the room at the back next to the restaurant and we could hear the staff talking loud while passing behind the bungalow. The solar panels are too weak, as there was no hot water for the shower and the fan was out at 1 am so it was quite hot in the room. We were disappointed not to have more seafood (I ordered pasta with prawns, that were tiny, I was expecting big prawns or gambas even if I had to pay more. I think the price of the food was too high for what they serve (euro 125,-/day per pers for half board)

Positive: this place was something out of a dream, such a beautiful location and very quiet for anyone looking to disconnect. the hotel managers were lovely and made my stay very comfortable, would highly recommend!

Negative: the only thing i would’ve changed is flexibility of food options and having a variety to choose from, even just as a snack menu to order a la carte if i’m not hungry enough for a full meal (but I understand this could be challenging since the location is very remote). other than that, perfect!

On Nosy Komba there are no cars or tuc-tuc, just peace and quiet. The bungalows are spotlessly clean, with a modern design that blends local materials and thoughtful details. The food is fresh, local, and absolutely delicious, and the service couldn’t be better. A heartfelt thank you to Spela, her husband Borut, and their daughter for their warmth, availability, and wonderful recommendations. The entire garden is like a dream – full of blooming flowers, lush plants, and peaceful paths. Everything is so beautifully designed and thoughtfully arranged – you can feel how much heart has been put into this place.
