Positive: Absolutely beautiful place to stay, very quiet and secluded with its own beach. We were well looked after by Sunette and Izaak. There are only four rooms, which means it is very tranquil. The gardens are absolutely stunning. You can take a boat trip to the local fishing village, the lodge can provide a guide - this was really interesting and much less touristy than the main village on Nosy Komba. If you have any spare pens, books etc you can bring with you and the lodge arranges for them to be donated to the local school. Can highly recommend.

Positive: Short version: stop looking and just book this amazons place. Longer version: we travel a lot and are a bit picky. This place really surprised us and was far beyond our (pretty high) expectations. Property: As there are only 4 chalets, it gives a very private and exclusive feeling. The chalets are simple but classy and beatiful and with amazing balconys and views. You could stay there all say - but don’t :) The outside environment is lovely with a beatiful garden with lots of trees, flowers and plants. The beach area is very pretty with comfy sunbeds and umbrellas perfectly placed in privacy. There are SUP boards and kayaks free of charge to use and you should! The sea is lovely, warm and safe and you can see fish and some turtles just swimming off the beach. The main building terrace where you have your meals is stunning with the most amazing view over the sea. If you are like us interested in birds you will be able to see some beautiful ones in the garden and from your balcony ! Food: We stayed for 9 nights and were never bored of the food. Breakfast is lovely with eggs, fruit and bread with a variety each day. Dinner is three courses and of course lo of focus on fish. Great, tasty and fresh food with lots of local produce. You can also get light lunches like a salad or a burger. Really good and very affordable. Service/staff: What makes this place so great is the people. Owners Sunette and Isak are just amazing warm and friendly hosts (and even more amazing persons !)and they Will make you feel like home (but better). Nothing is a problem, great attention to details and help with anything you need. For example great excursions for snorkeling and other stuff. Rest of the staff is also really great and you will be very well looked after. We really didn’t want to leave !! We had our last nights in another place on nosy be , was nice but far from this place. If I knew before I had definitely stayed here instead.

Positive: Exceptional… Isak and Sunette are such warm and caring hosts who have created a beautiful haven in tropical paradise. The design and decor blend in so perfectly with nature and help you to feel pampered and at peace. The whole experience was 10 star … from the dolphins on the boat ride to Komba, to the day trips snorkeling off the islands, to the delicious home made fresh meals made with love (even vegan options!!! - the best!), to the paddle boarding off the property, and listening to the ocean and waterfall while falling asleep. Highly highly recommended.

Positive: Everything! Wonderful and secluded place to stay that gives you those unique experiences you will remember for years with an amazing atmosphere and wonderful hosts. The bungalows are of very high standards with unique views and very fresh interior - rooms were also every day. The gardens are wonderful and the surroundings are amazing - a true nature experience. Tasty and varied meals that were homemade every day and plenty of things to do that the hosts gladly were arranging. We have been travelling much around and this is absolutely one of our best experiences. Hope to come back one day and thank you so much for contributing to making our holiday its best! Positive: Amazing quiet place to seclude and merge with the nature. The villas are very well planned, have amazing views and nice designed. It feels very cozy and just like at home. Despite of the peaceful accommodation there are a lot of things to do. Next to the hotel there is a reef for amazing snorkeling. The hotel provides all the equipment for it as well as for kayaking. The hotel can organise a boat for visiting other places of the island. If you like to hike, there is an option to hike all over this incredible island without any roads on it. Another highlight of this hotel is its host and owner! Amazing person who told us the story of building the hotel from scratch during the covid pandemics on the rocks of the island without any infrastructure. It's an amazing project helping also the local community and providing work places on the island. The food was just delicious! That's what you don't really expect in the remote places! We were lucky to spend our time during the Christmas eve. The owner organised a very festive dinner even with the Christmas gifts for the guests. I felt just like at home in a family sircle and was very touched by this. Such places stay deep in heart and I hope one day I'll come back with my family once again. Thank you so much for my unforgettable stay there!

Positive: Everything - the location was idyllic, the accommodation was modern, well kept and the hosts were absolutely fantastic , going out of their way to help - we felt like house guests rather than paying guests. The breakfasts were amazing, with locally grown fruit and a variety in the hot dishes, and homemade bread. Dinner was also amazing, with Isaac often bring slabs of meat from the bbq with home grown veg. Amazingly well kept gardens and lovely, smiling staff - Highly recommend.
