Positive: We got so lucky to find Eva and her villa! This was our first impression of Greece because we visited 3 islands and this set the stage for our comfort level and connection to Greece. Fantastic communication before our trip helped ease any anxiety about international travel and once we arrived, we felt like we had a friend who made restaurant recommendations and even helped us get our rental car in reverse which is one of our favorite memories of our trip! Eva was welcoming and thoughtful and the property had every comfort and plenty of room for our things. We are absolutely astounded by how clean and well-thought out the home is. We wanted the privacy of being out of town but an easy drive or taxi into town and this home was that perfect balance. Eva gifted us fresh tomatoes and olive oil and some treats upon our arrival which not only was amazing when we arrived hungry and didn’t want to venture out, but this also gave us a taste of local Greek foods. The private patio with the view of the immaculately maintained yard and pool was our favorite part! We loved the privacy all while having support next door if we needed.

Negative: We didn’t like that we had to leave! The stay was so delightful, thank you!

Summary: Privacy with Proximity, we felt at home in Crete.

Positive: Beautiful villa in a lovely quiet location with great views - perfect for relaxing but close enough for restaurants and shopping. It was well equipped and Eva the owner was exceptionally welcoming and kind.

Negative: One small thing, in the pool there were only 3 ladder steps, making getting into and especially getting out of the pool a bit tricky, perhaps could do with 3 more?

Positive: The villa was so light and comfortable. It was beautifully furnished with really carefully thought details. The beautiful terrace which overlooking the lovely large pool and the beautifully maintained garden was so peaceful and the best part was the amazing panoramic views of the sea! We loved eating our breakfast on the terrace and got to enjoy the most fantastic sunsets in the evening. We were only 5 mins from the lovely sandy beach and under 15 mins drive from the beautiful Venetian old town of rethymno where we had our pick of the lovely restaurants and tavernas. Our hosts, Eva and Sakis were so welcoming and kind - we really enjoyed their homegrown olive oil!

Negative: Nothing at all. We just wish our stay had been longer and we will definitely be back!

Positive: We loved everything about our 2 weeks stay in the Kivotos villa. The villa was very clean, it's situated in a quite location, in a lovely green garden, with swimming pool cleaned every day and with exceptional view, the sunsets were just beautiful. Eva and Sakis were very helpful, made us feel wery welcomed and Eva's tasty treats were delicious.

Positive: We recently enjoyed a four week stay at this fantastic villa with our baby, joined by family at various times. Eva, the host, was incredibly accommodating, coordinating cleaning schedules around our family's visits and providing essential items for our baby, like a high chair, stairgate, cot, and even a playmat. The villa was well-equipped with lovely facilities, a beautiful pool, and plenty of space. The view towards the sea was stunning, and the location felt very private. Eva's friendly and thoughtful nature made our stay exceptionally comfortable and stress-free. Highly recommend this villa for a spacious, well-equipped, and private retreat with a wonderful host. Positive: This villa was the best we ever had! It has everything (and much more) what you could imagine, from kitchen devices to beach supplies, from medicine with English explanations to gel plug... The refrigerator was filled for us when we arrived and Eva gave us homemade Panna Cotta and olive oil. Everybody including Eva's daughter Zania who welcomed us and Eva's husband who took care for the pool and the garden every morning (very discreet before we got up) are so nice and we thank them for their hospitality❤️ Cleaning and change of towels and bed linen was done twice a week. And of course we loved the cat family😀

Negative: Everything at the villa was perfect😀 A car is needed. But tavernas, shops and beaches can be reached within 5 to 10 min drive.
