Positive: The property is beautifully decorated and has everything you could need.

Negative: I was pretty horrified when attending the hotel for breakfast one morning to be charged over £50. We also had mouldy pancakes, asked for those to be changed etc but to then charge that much for breakfast, when a resident in the suites is quite poor. We paid a considerable amount for the suites, I wasn’t expecting that price for breakfast.

Summary: We would book again as it’s beautiful and in a great location.

Positive: wonderful position. Everything you might think you need is provided. Espresso pods, hot chocolate, fresh milk, washing powder… Rooms are a great size with ample space. A relaxing open-plan lounge, kitchen, dining space with outside area (we were so lucky with the weather so could watch sunset outside) made for a wonderful evening of self catering. We did have dinner and lunch at the sister hotel which was fabulous!!! (pizza burgers and my favorite the dual pork!) Great wifi throughout the apartment. Cannot recommend them higher.

Summary: A wonderful stay! I recommend them over and again!!! Will return for sure!!!!

Positive: Really well furnished, modern, clean and comfortable property located right next to the ferry at Tarbert, a short walk to the distillery, a short drive to some of the best beaches on the islands and less than an hour by car to Stornoway. Full kitchen facilities for those staying longer and wanting to cook in some nights. We only stayed as a couple so it was a bit expensive for just 2 people but that was just our circumstances - the accommodation could easily accommodate 2 couples or a family of up to 4 with 2 good sized bedrooms.

Negative: Nothing, it was a great self catering place to stay.

Positive: Lovely two storey holiday house, serviced like a hotel but the space and privacy of a holiday home. Smart and well equipped, very nice selection of tea and coffee! Outside space to sit too (if you get the weather!).

Negative: A wee issue with the hot water on arrival, quickly fixed when we reported it tho, and nothing else we count fault the place on.

Positive: The accommodation is in an ideal location. As a family with young children the house had everything we needed and more! The house provided small extras that really make a difference. The house was cleaned daily and facilities like coffee etc were topped up. The view from the apartment was stunning. We were fortunate enough to spend 4 beautiful days in Harris and the outside area allowed up to sit out eat and enjoy the view of the sea!
