This unique three story house was one of the first houses in this area. The house is a "leaning log pole" house. This is what neighbors have
hile long term renters are on the middle floor. The bottom floor has been converted into a living area with full amenities (no oven) three miles from the downtown area. The view from any room or deck is absolutely beautiful. This pet friendly suite (2 pets are welcome) includes a private laundry facility for long term stays (make arrangements with host). There are two parking areas. One is in front of the main house (use stairs to access the suite) the other is on a gravel driveway which we do not recommend when it's raining and/or snow. However it is your choice to park at either areas. The deck/fire pit is nestled around mature pine trees with views of Willow Lake and Mt Humphrey. Trails, hiking & many more adventures awaits you.
My husband (Joe) and I (Linda) enjoy having guests. We want to make sure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. There is a king bed with plenty of pillows, sheets and comforts. The kitchenette has 2 electric burners, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, coffee/tea bar, utensils, spices, cookware and dishes but no oven or dishwasher. Bathroom has shampoo/conditioner, blow dryer, body soap and plenty of towels. The laundry room wall is adjacent to the bedroom (can be heard in the bedroom). Laundry hours are 9am-9pm however if guests need quiet time before or after the posted hours please let me know so I can make sure the others are aware of the change. In addition, the gas bbq grill and wood fire pit is open to use.
Up to 2 pets are welcome. Must be house broken. Any accidents will cost the traveler an additional $75 or more.

Summary: Super cute listing on the hill MAYBE a mile off the main road. Gives you the allusion of being deep away from the city without the distance. The listing is the bottom floor of a 3 story home and was not awkward at all. When using the private dirt driveway around the corner, we didn’t encounter any other occupants throughout the duration of the stay. Pictures don’t do the home justice, it’s a gorgeous view with a nice cozy home + kitchenette. This home was perfect for the quick getaway and is the middle point of around 3 lakes all 15 minutes away. The listing had all of the amenities + more and even provided the things we wouldn’t of though of like allergy medicine and bug spray. The home has portable AC units that brought the whole home to a cool 67 degrees. A few other reviews mentioned the laundry noise but we had no issues with that whatsoever.

Summary: The rental was clean and well supplied with kitchen and bathroom necessities. The air conditioner in the living room did not work well so that room was hot. We left one day early due to the constant loud construction work in the upper section of the house. The manager apologized and stated that we would be reimbursed for one day.

Summary: This rental was perfect very clean, comfortable and had everything we could ever need to be comfortable. The host was very responsive to all my messages. The property is dog friendly and even had a small bucket of toys and blankets for our furry family member. The views from the balcony are beautiful to sit and enjoy your coffee in the morning. We will defiantly be coming back for our weekend get aways.

Summary: Overall our stay was comfortable and nice. Apartment had everything we needed and our dogs were welcome. Unfortunately the laundry room right next to the bedroom was used by tennants in the middle of the night waking us up for a couple of hours unexpectedly.

Summary: What a great place. The photos don't do it justice. The patio with a heater and the huge windows on the inside gave us a wonderful view of the valley. It was perfect for a few day stay. If you are planning on staying longer just be aware the fridge is a smaller sized one and their is no oven. We would totally stay here next time we visit the area. The price is perfect also!
