Positive: Great location, great food very helpful and friendly staff Didn't realise till I left that this is an incense making village. Metres away from the homestay..you can explore the different processes involved with incense. Very peaceful, beautiful location But you do need transport and they do not rent motorbikes or bicycle It is way further out from Cao bhang ...certainly 40 minutes by car. I had booked a double bed with bathroom... only to be told on my arrival that the price and booking was wrong ..and that it would now cost 3 times what I had paid....after a polite discussion..they moved me into one of the bungalows ( double bed and en suite) only for one night ...additional nights would be at the new price . The room they wanted to put me in had shared shower and toilets and was cold as the windows had no glass, were an open frame with shutters I had this same experience in other bookings in Cao bang ...shame really ...such a nice place.

Positive: Such a lovely family! The food was exceptional, and we are vegetarians which is out of their comfort zone! The view from the balcony was amazing and the village is super lovely. a great choice if you want to explore Cao Bang without sleeping in the city and having an authentic experience.
