Summary: Beautiful location. Fairly basic accomodation but comfortable and clean. Really comfy bed. Weather not as bad as expected so did a fair amount of walking. Had 2 dogs with us and they loved it. Only problem is they kept going under the cabin where they found something nasty to lick. Although I know access to pipes etc required suggest something to restrict dog access. Hot tub is wood fired and took ages to fill and bring to temperature (had a couple of questions regarding it but messages to contacts were unanswered) but we managed and it was so worth it sitting there with the amazing view. Unfortunately the good old Scottish midges enjoyed it, and us, too!! Having read previous posts we took padded folding chairs with us so we could relax on the decked area watching the red kites wheeling over the forest across the loch. We were visited by the red squirrels. They ran over the roof of the cabin and sat on the fence. Batteries well and truly recharged.
