Positive: We couldn't have been happier with our stay- the apartment was beautiful, very clean and the beds were so comfortable! Also, Paul and Sam were excellent hosts and helped us when we had questions about the local area.

Negative: We couldn't fault Summerlands on anything. For our next stay (because yes, we all want to come back!), we would hire a car as it was a bit difficult sometimes to get a taxi, but that comment goes for everywhere in the Lake District.

Positive: This has got to be the most amazing property we have ever stayed in. The apartment, as is the whole house, is decorated with so much thought and attention to even the smallest details. Despite the large rooms they immediately felt cosy and relaxing and was perfect for our family. The hosts were amazing, welcoming us when we first arrived and made us feel at home throughout. We will definitely stay again! Highly recommended.

Positive: Summerlands Hall was charming and beautifully decorated.The three bedrooms where luxurious and each one was unique .The gothic architecture and furniture makes it a truly unique experience.The accommodation was perfect for three couples with plenty of space and all you need for a comfortable stay.Our host Paul was very friendly and helpful from the moment we booked to the end of our stay.We where also lucky enough to get a tour and history of the house which has been carefully restored and was very interesting.

Negative: Could not fault it in any way.We all loved it.

We had a very warm welcome from our hosts Paul and Samantha who were very helpful throughout our visit. The views and gardens are stunning. Positive: Over the years I thought I had spent time in the best of the best places across the globe! I was wrong until I was fortunate to spend 4 days at the Gothic Hall, Summerlands Retreat. Every detail was thoughtfully catered to, the apartment was spotless and truly authentic, every bedroom, sitting room and two beautiful bathrooms were stunning! The hosts were unbelievably gracious and accommodating. I feel even 5 stars would not give the justice this place deserves, I would recommend booking while this place is available before the word gets out!! Thank you again for hosting this unforgettable weekend.
