Positive: Everything was perfect! The location was great as it was easy to get to; slightly in the mountains with a stunning mountain and sea view. The property is surrounded by greenery and orchards, so every time you sit on the patio you are surrounded by nature, with exotic fruits just growing on the trees right in front of you. The house itself was unbelievable; super clean, very well maintained, great facilities and so many appliances and additional equipment for our comfort and use, even beach towels and beach accessories. The kitchen had so many spices, condiments, tea, coffee, sugar, etc. and fruit left by the lovely hosts. The air con was great; fast and quiet. Now to the best part, the hosts... which were absolutely amazing! Super polite and helpful and kind, and just the epitome of Greek hospitality. Dionysis was always quick to respond to any messages and always a phone call away if needed. This is truly a home away from home, even better honestly! This is by far not our first Greek Island holiday, but certainly one of the best, if not the best, which is hugely attributable to this property and its hosts. We will definitely be back!

Positive: Stunning views over the valley and sea. House is set in wonderful gardens with fresh lemons. Our hosts provided us with lots of fruit and salads which they grow themselves and we were given a departure gift of dried herbs and preserves from their allotment. There is plenty of seating, the bedrooms and bathroom are spacious. There is a large TV, good air conditioning, sliding doors to a large outdoor patio & seating area. The kitchen is well equipped for making meals. Locally it is less than 10 minutes to a lovely sandy beach with plenty of bars & restaurants and 35 minutes by car from the airport. However you do definitely need a car here as there are very few facilities in the village. It really is a home from home.

Positive: Amazing view, very friendly host (cooled water, homemade jams, fruits from the garden waited us in the fridge). We stayed for a week with our two mini daschunds, and it was the best our apartment ont the island so far. And we got a little present on the last day. Highly recommended.

Positive: The house has superb views and is in a small village on the road that links the coast. The house is spacious, well laid out and has a terrace full of fruit trees and the smell of jasmine. The kitchen is fully equipped, with the courtesy of the host, you have all the ingredients for cooking. There is a cafe less than five minutes walk away. The only downside is parking at the door of the house because it is a steep slope but the host has it sorted with an outside car park 1 minute from the house. The village has no shops or restaurants and everything is no less than 20 minutes drive away. This place is definitely a good choice when travelling with children.

Positive: We came to Kefalonia for time away and to visit family. We both loved the help from the owners. Our initial arrival went awry, and a quick phone call to Dionysus fixed that. Once we arrived, his mother Bia welcomed us with hugs and food. We owed her big time. The next day, Dionysus gave us directions to local areas to get the things we needed. His friend Spiros took us by cab to get our car thereafter. Everything went smoothly from then on. We loved being able to come home to cook food and relax on the couch to the views each night. Come morning, with windows open, you could smell the fresh oranges and lemons. The best was Dionysus apricot tree. Our hope is to return again during a different season to see what else the island has to offer. Staying at the Sea View Cottage is something you'll always remember and never regret.

Negative: There was not much you could even say about not liking something here. If I were to be honest, the cottage was wonderful. The only thing we don't miss is the driving on the island!

Positive: The welcome Bia gave us was lovely. The kitchen was stocked with all manner of lovely fruits, herbs and the things you need to cook. My daughter appreciated the chromecast/TV so she could watch disney. The place was far more comfortable and homely than most places you find in Greece. We loved it SO much.

Negative: Nothing, it was really great.
