Positive: Location was very good close to restaurants and stores Property was clean and well kept. Security was very helpful- battery in key pad died and the guard was fantastic

Negative: It was kind of noisy near the harbor but can’t be helped.

Positive: We did find some features at Banyan Harbor Resort that we loved! The extra-large screen TVs in the lower living area and main bedroom were a fantastic touch, making it easy to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. Plus, having an extra TV in the second bedroom was a great bonus, ensuring everyone had their own space to enjoy some downtime.

Negative: Our stay at Banyan Harbor Resort had its ups and downs. While our local host was responsive and helpful via text, the overall experience didn’t quite meet our expectations for the price. The 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath unit was on the pricey side, and there were some disappointments. The second bedroom had a bunk bed, there was no pull-out couch, and the unit wasn’t fully air-conditioned. Only the main bedroom had a box window A/C, the second bedroom had a portable A/C, and the lower living area had no A/C at all, making it less comfortable. Adding to the frustrations, we had no view of anything from our unit, and the screen and door to the balcony needed their tracks replaced. The front desk staff was unfriendly and inhospitable, which was disappointing. For the rate we paid, it was also annoying that we had to strip the bed sheets, run the dishwasher, wash towels, and empty the trash ourselves—chores that felt out of place for a vacation stay. The location was convenient, but the beach was more than a 5-minute walk away, so be prepared for a bit more of a trek. And really, a 10 AM check-out time?! That felt way too early and added to our overall sense of frustration.
