Positive: Perfect, cozy (!) Kasbah in Tamnougalt. We stayed with our two children in the family room with an amazing big balcony/roof terrace and our own private bathroom. The host was very kind and made us a tasty, very affordable dinner. The surroundings are lovely and super quiet with great views over the gardens, the old village and mountains. It really feels removed from the more touristy destinations, great for a day or two of relaxation! Two tips: take everything you might need (cash, water,snacks, etc) with you, as the old village doesn't have any stores or facilities and make sure to take a tour through the old Kasbah. Very interesting history and kind guides!

Positive: Amazing spot, Mustafa is a great host, caring and kind. The food is delicious and the history of the object exceptional. Highly recommended! We stayed 2 nights and did not regret it.

Positive: Magical place to stay, in amongst 16th century ruins used in many Hollywood films. Mustafa the host does everything and is charming and very friendly, his English is superb from working in the film industry in his youth. The food was simple and traditional, possibly the best food we had in Morocco. If you're passing through the Draa valley you must stay here. You won't find a more authentic experience.

Positive: The house was beautifully decorated as a Berber house. Mustapha welcome us to his home. He made us a lovely dinner and breakfast.the views from the house were over a lovely garden. The room was very comfortable. This house was magical…it was surrounded by crumbling homes. Mustapha has rescued this house and decorated it lovingly. It was a very special place.

Negative: The experience was great but don’t expect lots of restaurants close by. You also need to park a little ways from the house. All added to its charm.

Positive: By far, my favorite place I visited in morroco. It's quiet, removed, and everything I was looking for. Mustapha has rebuilt this broken down Kasbah into a beautiful authentic style guest house full of warm hospitality and a taste of beber culture. He is a gentleman, an artist, musician, chef and a beautiful respectful host.
