Summary: Excellent Hotel!

Summary: Perfect stay. I loved everything about Kars Oteli. The building is one of the few remaining old Russian mansions in Kars, my room was spacious and comfortable with a wonderful long outside balcony. The bed was superb. The room had a fridge, kettle and coffee machine, also a cafetière. A good breakfast. Most of all Metin Bey was excellent, he found me a Turkish tour (museums, Ani, lake çıldır) for the next day, and helped with every query. He kindly packed me a good breakfast for the doğu ekspresi - lucky as there's no food on the train (only on the tourist one). I highly recommend staying here.

Summary: Great service by the staff all around. When I asked if there were any stores that sell homemade rose jam, they called around and brought me one! Just excellent service by the manager Mehmet and staff.

Summary: Great historic hotel in a very convenient location to see the town by foot. Staff was friendly, hotel was clean, many restaurants and shops nearby.

Summary: Great hotel in the center of Kars. Featuring contemporary rooms and a tasty breakfast. It was an excellent staring point for our excursions with knowledgeable local guide Celil Ersözoglu to Ani, Çildir lake and the town center.
