Positive: Friendly and Professional staff - high five to the snap and fnb team for orchestrating a memorable proposal to my fiancée (it was perfect). High five to the staff working at Zest restaurant for their kindness with kids as well as adults. Amazing scenery for amazing pictures Clean place and lots of activities Good buffet (lot of choice) and restaurants Smooth transfer process considering the boat trip + a plane trip from and to Male airport Really appreciated the staff saying goodbye until the boat gets far at sea.

Negative: water villa 430 : Sofa was not cleaned underneath (we’ve had to move it due to a persistent cold air coming out of the ceiling in that room despite the air con being off (staff cleaned it on the second day) A horrible loud noise was waking us up every day at 8 am. We ultimately realized that the staff was turning on the machinery to filter the swimming pool. We do understand this system needs to be turned on but it would have been best to turn it on from 10 am or while we were out of the villa or also think about a system that would not be that close to the master room. Lastly, we arrived at Kandima during the night (evening 8/9 pm) and check-in was expedited on the app and no clear guidance was provided at that time suggesting we had to wait for the next day. Additionally, our villa was quite far so it would have been nice to be escorted on the very first night considering the type of villa chosen, the price paid per night (close to 1000$/night) and the time of the day. Bicycles aren’t in great conditions.

Positive: Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Sushi was great , Indian stuff like naan was a pleasant surprise. Location is good, around 45 min by sea plane and another 15 min by boat. Reefs are good though at places it seems to look damaged. Staff is super polite and professional. I will recommend this place to friends and family. A brilliant getaway for a short 4-5 days vacation. A great part of this property are the activities. Go karting, yoga and spa sessions, aqua activities are pretty decent. The property has a great bar as well and rates are quite ok. Overall the property has a lot of stuff packed in a 3 km length which is quite impressive.

Negative: Toiletries could be better , toothbrush, toothpaste, ear buds are a basic necessity. At some places near the boat docking station, reefs are a bit damaged, probably due to some construction work. But overall reefs are great.

Summary: An excellent property , if you are looking for a perfect gateway for a week, look no further.

Positive: They have great facilities for kids. Awesome place if you are going with children. Very well organized with safety in mind.

Negative: The food was a bit boring especially if you stay there for more than 4 days. The water cups used at the breeze bar need to be changed. They looked a bit old.
