Summary: We stayed in Room 519 (Beach Villa with Swirl Pool). Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to our previous visit. The swirl pool was under heavy shade, making the water very cold and unusable — especially in December. There is no heating function, so we never used it. Last year, we stayed in an overwater villa, and the swirl pool was in direct sunlight, making it enjoyable even at night. Food quality was disappointing this time. Breakfast and lunch options were repetitive, and on several occasions the chicken was undercooked and vegetables were not properly prepared. Some dishes also seemed off. The only positive was that desserts changed daily, which was nice. For an all-inclusive resort, the beverage offering was very limited. Many cocktails, mocktails, iced coffees, and even hot chocolate were frequently out of stock at both pools. Entertainment was also limited. Activities like go-karting and jet skis were excluded, despite being marketed as part of the resort experience. Overall, this stay did not match our previous experience or the expectations of a premium all-inclusive resort.

Summary: The Rooms were great. The buffet was not 5 star with little bespoke cooking as per other resorts ive been to in Maldives. Male staff mostly seem disinterested and slow. Females are great. Smoke, staff and food was great. Entertainment bsnds were average to poor . Philippino duo however were excellent. Management never seem to interact with guests. Seemed aloof . Lovely location but not really 5 star.

Summary: Great over water villa. Views. Pool. Resort lovely and lush. All female staff great. Many male staff seem disinterested. Play staff good and diving great. Manager needs to talk to guests. Not sure it is 5 star Resort but was very good

Summary: Lovely island resort, with stunning beach and house reef for snorkelling. Lovely room with great access to the beach. Great food and service. Great trips at aqua Center and cast away dining. Just loved the resort

Summary: So the room was perfect and the views were unmatched! The weakness of the facility is their need to nickel and dime their guests at every corner with non-included things all over the island despite me being all inclusive. The next weakness was the staff apart from one fantastic bartender Rasel which I loved, many of the hospitality staff weren’t very friendly on top of the buffet area the tables were not kept clean and was often hard to find a place to sit. As far as the dining establishments go I felt the food was subpar for a place of its quality with many things not appearing on the menu that were advertised. Finally I was unable to make a single snorkel trip with them always being cancelled due to possible storms even on the best days.

Summary: Would have been 5 stars but there was a huge negative for us. We had paid for full board however of the 2 restaurants included one was closed for refurbishment. This meant every lunch and dinner we had to drag our 2 kids (one is 8 months old) to the other end of the island. Can either get a buggy or walk. Depending on how lucky you get with timing this could be 15-20mins on either option. A walk that far with 2 kids prams was unpleasant in the heat too! The staff in Kandiland were good as was Laizan the bus driver (apologies name likely incorrectly spelt!). He was great with our son.
