Positive: The view of the lake and the mountain from the Jurgen house was breathtakingly beautiful! The host's entire family were exceptionally kind and attentive, making me feel at home. They invited me to cook traditional Albanian food together and to show me around the village. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Meals were organic and hearty. My stay at Jurgen house was the highlight of my trip to Albania! I highly recommend this place!

Positive: We arrived late at night, and Michaël welcomed us on the road and waited for us, which we truly appreciated. His entire family was very welcoming and showed excellent hospitality. The breakfast and lunch were very nice and were prepared on time. The morning view was beautiful, when you wake up in the morning, you can see stunning mountains with snow‑covered peaks and a lake right from your bed. Michaël also promised to help us with fishing on his boat during our next visit, which we are really looking forward to. Overall, it was an excellent experience. Highly recommended for families, you must try this place!

Negative: The payment method should ideally be online. Unfortunately, it was our mistake that we did not carry enough LEK or Euros for the final payment. As a result, cash payment was required. If you do not carry sufficient cash, you may need to travel up to one hour in total to withdraw money from an ATM. We were a group of five people, and additional cash was required for breakfast and lunch. Please ensure you carry enough cash to cover both the rent amount and food expenses. Michaël was very helpful and assisted us with travelling to an ATM to withdraw cash.

Positive: The views from this house are exceptional. The unit is very clean and just like advertised. The hosts are very welcoming and accommodating. Our kids loved looking at the cows. There's also a store in the village where you can buy things in case you want to cook in the kitchen. The included breakfast was delicious. For a small fee, we had the hosts make us dinner, which was great. Plenty to do as well whether you want to go hiking or swimming. We'll definitely return.
