Positive: Qëndrim fantastik! Çdo gjë ishte perfekte: mikpritja, pastërtia dhe ushqimi. Gatimet e zonjës së shtëpisë ishin të mrekullueshme, ndërsa peshku koran i kapur në liqen nga bashkëshorti i saj ishte pa dyshim peshku më i shijshëm që kam ngrënë ndonjëherë. Negative: The bathroom was not private! In the morning I had to wait to my turn to pee.. No hot water is the shower! It was a freezing day, and I had to freeze in the shower too..

Positive: Fabulous service, breakfast, lunch and and dinner was offered as well and was absolutely delicious. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Host is friendly and lovely. Boat trips for leisure and fishing was also offered and it was just fantastic. Just can’t get enough from this paradise!

Positive: A Hidden Gem by the Lake. Truly Authentic and Heartwarming! If you’re looking for a truly authentic experience, Villa Stavri is the place to be. This charming guesthouse offers a cozy and peaceful atmosphere right by the lake, where you can enjoy a slice of real local life. Toni and his wife are the sweetest hosts you could ask for. They take great care of their guests and serve incredible home-cooked meals especially the fish that Toni (he’s a local fisherman) catches fresh from the lake. It’s an absolute treat! You can enjoy both lunch and dinner here if you wish, and they’re always happy to ask what you would like and tailor the meal to your preferences. The garden leads right down to the lake, where you can enjoy a drink and take a refreshing dip from their private staircase into the water. It doesn’t get more relaxing than that. The rooms are clean and well-kept with daily housekeeping, which adds to the overall comfort of the stay. While the hosts don’t speak much English yet, having a translation app on hand makes communication easy and their kindness and hospitality more than make up for the language barrier. I would absolutely recommend staying at Villa Stavri. It’s a wonderful place where you truly feel at home and have space to unwind. A peaceful, heartfelt experience that’s hard to find elsewhere.

Positive: The owner of the house is a fisherman and catches fresh koran (the expensive and special fish found only in Pogradec and Lin) and you can accompany him in his fishing at 03.00 am to see the whole experience up close and enjoy it together with other fresh traditional foods cooked by the hostess for lunch or dinner at low prices and the fantastic view of the lake in a garden full of flowers. You felt like you had the whole house to yourself with the peace and quiet that the view and sounds of nature offer and the chirping birds accompanied us all day and made us immensely happy. The landlady is very kind, homely, and is there for you for anything you need at any time. The rooms are large, have plenty of space, and are very clean. The bathroom has everything you could need, making your stay in the apartment easier. Typical Albanian breakfast with homemade products such as jam, pancakes, cheese, and eggs. I recommend it and would be happy to come back.
