Positive: The resort was set in the jungle just as we wanted. We saw at least 100-150 deer who come to the resort everyday...was such a pleasant surprise! The food was exceptional- very tasty and so was the hospitality. Must visit resort!

Positive: Excellent food and comfortable rooms with functional facilities. Bathrooms are spotlessly clean and well maintained. Staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable.

Negative: The kids' swings are badly worn out and requires repair/replacement. The library-cum-play area reminded us of a graveyard where catalogues, old racing magazines and broken toys go to die. While the deer on the property are a sight to behold, the droppings they leave behind on the land inch-for-inch are an eyesore and impossible to avoid stepping on.

Positive: To immerse yourself — that’s the first word that comes to mind if you truly want to experience the jungle. Jungle Hut is, above all, a magnificent garden — both by day and by night — right in the heart of the reserve. Your hut faces the mountain range, allowing you to admire the landscape while sipping a cup of tea. Lonely Planet mentions that the meals here are among the best in the region — and that’s absolutely true. Breakfast is a real delight. Walk through the park, meet deer, does, or monkeys along the way, and take a refreshing dip in the pool. Safaris are always a bit of a gamble — spotting wildlife depends on timing and luck. I’m leaving with wonderful memories and photos of bison, peacocks, monkeys, deer, and even a majestic elephant on the way back to Bangalore.
