Positive: Excellent breakfast with good variety to choose from. Helpful staff and great location to explore the town.

Negative: Long wait to check in and out. Parking is paid and rooms even though are spacious have rather basic facilities especially for the price of the stay.

Positive: The staff was very friendly and helpful and we really appreciated the children's play room and laundry service.

Negative: We had hoped to book a family room, but it wasn't available so we had 2 rooms next to each other. That is not a problem for the hotel. We booked the room relatively late, so that is on us.

Negative: Aircon, even tho I switched off it still runs through a self-check every few hours and you can hear the pumps kicking in, gargling, and the louvers opening, blows cold air then shuts back off again 2 mins later.

Positive: Pros: ~Amazing breakfast! Wide variety of items, plenty of seating, super yummy. ~We are a family of 6 and they put our rooms right next to each other, which was not the case at every hotel we stayed at and was much appreciated! ~Kind and helpful staff/front desk staff. Desk staff were also English speakers. ~Nice bar area where you could get coffee and cake in the afternoon ~Quiet neighborhood

Negative: Cons: ~A 10 minute walk from Old Town. We didn't mind the walk, but if you want to go to the new side it'll take you 20-30 minutes on foot. If I ever come back, I would choose a closer hotel. ~Housekeeping staff didn't refill soap/shampoo in either room when it ran out. We had to go down to the front desk for refills both times! ~Housekeeping also didn't refill tea bags or replace dirty cups the first day they cleaned, at least in the 4 person room. ~Very hard beds. I ended up taking Tylenol before bed to help with the back pain from sleeping in the bed. ~Our biggest complaint was the AC. In the 4 person room, it didn't work in one of the bedrooms for 3 of the 4 nights we were there. We made multiple stops at the front desk and despite that, it didn't get fixed until the day before we left. It would get pretty hot in the bedroom during the day, and I would be sweating and miserable all night. Finally after begging, pleading, and complaining, they sent a maintenance man up who worked on it for an hour and fixed it for the final night of our stay. After all of that, the hotel would only give us a 7% discount on the room, which amounted to $77. So barely anything. This was really frustrating as it affected the quality of our stay and my sleep and $77 is nothing. We paid for 2 rooms for 4 nights... they could have credited us for one night in one room with the broken AC. That simple gesture would've made me happy. After all, we alerted them to the problem immediately and made several requests for service.
