Positive: I arrived in the dark and rain so couldn't appreciate the beauty of this location until morning. I left really early and wasn't able to enjoy any amenities but could tell the spot is a beautiful one - well worth enjoying in warmer weather. Anyway, it was fine for me as I really just needed a place to lay my head - unfortunately - while there was a coffee maker in the room - there was no coffee supplied so I headed out a 7 a.m. and never returned. It is a beautiful place though and rather old fashioned which there's nothing wrong with. A gold mine should someone with deep pockets come along and spruce it up.

Summary: Acceptable for the time of year and the purpose of my stay.

Positive: The location is nice. It is close to a major highway.

Negative: The owners (front-desk people) are rude. They tried to get more of my money and the guy talked my ear off trying to justify why they charged more than the booking. The place looks like a very cheap road-side motel.

Positive: We really enjoyed our time at Johnstown Motel. Beautiful scenery, comfortable room, very comfortable beds and warm blankets! Recycling boxes and the room got cleaned while we were out We will definitely be back again! Worth it 100%

Negative: Shower was a bit small but the water pressure was nice. The hot faucet knob really gets hot to the touch but I’m thankful for warm showers!!

Summary: Great place to stay at! Will definitely be back again!
